In order to achieve a great output for your design, the art file we receive from you plays a major factor. If you do not know which type of artwork to send, we will suggest the most suitable solution based on the production process and the material it will be printed on. We accept a wide range of file formats in vector art or photoshop files for your customized artwork. Below is a more detailed look into the file formats that need to be supplied when placing the order. 1. Vector art format in Adobe Illustrator (.eps or .ai), in Corel Draw (.cdr), or in Photoshop (.psd) 2. Make sure to convert all text to outlines to avoid font distortion 3. Except for 4-color process (CMYK) printing, all screen printing artworks require a corresponding Pantone number for each color used. 4. JPG file must be provided during proofing as it will not be deformed or distorted when we open the file. 5. The resolution of .jpg, .pdf, or .tiff files must be at least 300dpi when the actual imprint size at 100% or larger, otherwise objects are vague when the artwork is enlarged. 6. Please specify the full product size in the artwork. Please also specify the thickness, if the design is semi-cubic or 3-dimensional cubic. It is necessary sometimes to offer CNC artwork or a physical sample for 3-dimensional designs in order to capture the full essence of the design.

Immediate action such as a quality check is a necessary procedure after goods have arrived at your office or warehouse. Quality check also needs to be performed before dispatching to your clients. For lapel pins, larger is not necessarily better. The common size for a lapel pin is 25mm~38mm (1”~1.5”). You can visualize it in relation to common objects such as coins of different sizes. Or cut out a piece of paper at the size that you are considering to help determine the size.
