Anti-Metal NFC Dog Tag Designed for Reliable Scanning
Metal provides excellent durability and a premium appearance, but it can interfere with standard NFC signals. For this reason, Jin Sheu designs each NFC dog ID tag with a dedicated recessed NFC area and an anti-metal compatible chip structure. The NFC component is isolated from the surrounding metal to support more reliable smartphone scanning. Strong magnetic fittings and metallic overlays directly covering the NFC area should be avoided to reduce signal interference.
NFC Dog Tag – Two Custom Integration Options
Jin Sheu provides two NFC integration structures for custom metal pet tags, allowing buyers to select the most suitable solution based on NFC performance, appearance and budget. Both options use a recessed metal design to accommodate the NFC component while supporting custom shapes, logos, finishes and branding requirements.
- Option 1 — Metal Base + NFC PVC Sticker
Option 1 uses a simple 2-layer structure consisting of a metal base and a self-adhesive NFC PVC sticker. This cost-effective solution is suitable for custom pet ID tags, promotional gifts and branded merchandise, while offering flexible logo, color and graphic customization. - Option 2 — Metal Base + Anti-Metal NFC + Epoxy Label
Option 2 uses a 3-layer structure with a metal base, anti-metal NFC chip and printed epoxy label. The anti-metal layer helps isolate the NFC component from the surrounding metal for more stable scanning, while the epoxy cover adds surface protection and a more premium finished appearance.

Jin Sheu can develop round, square, bone, heart, shield or custom-shaped metal pet tags with custom logos and decorative finishes. The recessed NFC area can typically accommodate approximately 25 mm, 30 mm or 35 mm round or square NFC components, depending on the overall tag design.
